Scrunching hair!?

how can i scrunch my pretty thick and somewhat wavy hair witohut it becoming frizzy?

using:

herbal essences scrunching gel

hairspray

and mousse

Scrunching hair!?

Wash and condition your hair.

Squeeze the excess water out. To scrunch it, you want it damp but not soaking wet or dripping.

Wrap your hair in a small towel. Do not rub your hair at all with the towel. What you can do is wring it within the towel if the ends are still dripping.

Run your fingers or a wide-tooth comb through your hair and make a part as best as you can. Don't worry if it's not perfect.

Use hairspray. Put it near the middle and bottom of your hair. Putting it too close to your roots will cause it to look greasy and weighed down.

Turn your head upside down so that your hair is hanging down. This step is optional and some prefer to skip it.

Put gel/mousse in your hands and rub them together to spread the gel/mousse.

Grab a small handful of hair by the ends and push it up toward the head. Hold it in place for a few moments while aiming the hair dryer at it to 'set' the gel/mousse/hair spray.

Repeat this all over your head, reapplying the gel every time. Keep in mind that small handfuls yield tighter waves and large handfuls create full, loose waves.

Or:

Shampoo and condition with products formulated to improve your hair's texture and flexibility.

Towel dry your hair so that it is damp, not dripping.

Apply a firm hold styling aid from the root area to the ends. Hair Gel or Glaze is usually better for heavy hair and Styling Foam or Mousse usually works for fine hair. You may have to experiment to see which works for you.

To dry your hair, you will either use a diffuser or let it dry naturally. Either way, you must be patient to not rush the drying process.

Scrunching hair!?

I found a good gel for scrunching. It's Aussie Sun Touched Shine. Usually I scrunch it and let it air-dry most of the way then I use my hairdryer with the diffuser with fingers to scrunch and dry.

Scrunching hair!?

I would also like to know this, let me know how it goes ;)

Scrunching hair!?

Take a shower and then when your hair is still wet gel it; But dont just put the gell in, your have to put it in your hand and scrunch the hair upwards as your put it in and the way to the top. You might want to practive before doing it though, you might not do it right the first time and have to go out with ugly hair that isnt what you hoped it would look like.

Scrunching hair!?

lose the gel and the hairspray. Use a tiny bit of frizz-ease hair serum while your hair is wet. Then when you've done scrunching and hair is dry use a tiny amount to smooth hair. Work it only thru the ends. A tiny amount, really tiny. Use a bit of hairspray on your part or to secure the style in place.

Scrunching hair!?

There is Garnier no more frizz cream that you just put in before doing that! Or You could get Frizz- ezz

Scrunching hair!?

i hav curly hair call me lucky! but wet it brush it out then flip our head over and shake it and scrunh it then flip it back over and apply scrunching products! then part it to the side

this is how i fix my hair for school

Scrunching hair!?

Look for a scrunching spray either at the store or ask your stylist. Wash your hair and let it air dry till almost dry. Spray lightly with the spray, too much spray will weigh it down and make it collapse. Turn your blow dryer on low heat, heat up one section at a time and scrunch it in your hand tightly. Repeat with all your hair one section at a time. When you're done, don't brush it or it will frizz. Just run your hands through it gently to loosen a little and look more natural.

Good luck!
