When i spike my hair, it does not hold one solid spike, but many hair sticks out from it?

i've search through the questions about spike hair, and can't seem to find the answer..

what i mean is,the spike of hair that i try to spike up, it is not smooth and solid; many little hair sticks out from the spike? ?

I've used the strongest hold of gel already, but it does not hold up a good hair style(a perfectly organized rows of solid spikes)..

I think it is because my hair is so thin and curly, anybody got some suggestions on how I should make a good hair style?

i guess it will work more if you shorten the length of your hair

as long as u use hard gels and stuff

Try something called bees wax or something. Im not sure of the exact name, but im pretty sure its some kind of wax, and not Gel. It worked for me when I used to do it. Good luck!
