I use Hebal Ecense Color Shampoo for color treated hair, because i dye my hair, but my hair is somewhat straight yet has some little itty bitty wave in it. I use an Andis straightener 350 degrees, and i use it on its 2nd to lowest setting. I use Treseme hairspray and i striaghten my hair in layers and spray each layer. But my hair stays striaght for about and hour and it feels thick and tangles easily, then starts to flip. I want pin straight hair. I don't want to use a syrem. Hairspray, gel, spray gel, stuff like that. NO straightening syrems or anything like that. What can i do to make my hair straighter longer and not feel all thick and tagled and oily feeling? I shower everyday, wash my hair everyday, is that a bad thing???
I Want To Straighten My Hair But It Never Stay Straight?
My hair is exactly like yours!!!! I am actually in the process of making my hair straight right now! see i hate straighteners or blow drying my hair. my hair gets really thick too! So first try and get your hair in layers. It makes it thinner. Second my method of straightening hair is in process. Im testing putting abut 5 rubber bands all the way down a ponttail when its wet. not sure if its gonna work but im trying it!! i have tried so many methods. I am working on it!
see the rubberband thing is like this
The lines going vertical is a ponytail all of the horizontel lines are rubberbands. REMEMBER your hair must be wet. Im trying this right now...hope it workd for you..it might not work cuz its just a test but you can try!
I--I

Experiment with other rubberband things and wet hair..it might work
Or try other straightening shampoos.
Hope I helped!

you should try a new straightner, go to folica . com. It has reviews, before and after pics. I have a Sedu straightner, and my hair is pin straight, it last untill i wash my hair.

My daughter's hair is just like yours with that slight wave in it and like you, she's tried everything. The only thing that we have tried that was successful was having what they call a "straight perm" which for her took about 4 hours. The person that does my daughter's hair said it would last almost a year. It lasted about 8 months (not too bad) and we got it redone. Like I said, it took about 4 hours for her (more time if your hair is longer, her's is not quite mid-back, just a tad bit higher) hair to get done, and it can be costly ($250 for her's but it's dependent on your hairdresser).
I hope this information helps you out. If you can find someone who does straight perms and you can afford it, you might try this route. My daughter loves it and now leaves her hair down full time (she use to keep it in a pony all the time before the straight perm).
Best of luck to you!

i use sunsilk thermal shine spray when my hair is damp. Then i use my CHI hair straightener. It works really well. So i think that you need maybe a better straightener and then you could also get it chemicaly straightened or try blow drying it straight but if you have poofy hair that won't work cuz it makes it even more poofy. I recomend if you just have a little wavy hair to get it chemicaly straightened but that might to be good cuz it seems like you are doing alot to your hair. Maybe it just needs a break from the dying and all that. Hope this helps. Good luck!!

ok try this put your head down and hairspray it but don't spray it to close to your head same with the top and don't aways put it around your face it make you sweat more and it curls up quicker or to make it easyer you could get your hair chemically staighted but it is a little expensive but your hair is pin staight for a whole month!
