ok so i loveeeedd my cousins hair because it was loose curls and it looked really pretty so i asked her how she did it and she said she used herbal essences totally twisted scrunching gel. so i bought it. the problem is..her hair is pretty straight with a slight wave to it naturally but mine is REALLY curly and thick and i want loose curls not tight curls like i have and i dont want to use a curling iron. so will this scrunching gel work for me? or no? and if it will, how should i do it? pleasehelp!

probably not. You could try putting you're hair in one tight french braid and sleeping on it, so it dries like this. Use the get and some sort of anti frizz product, like serum/creme. You'll most likely need someone else to do the braid though.
Oooh! i forgot to say dont brush it when you take it out or scrunch it if it's damp. It'll make it go into tight curls. or go frizzy
