Hair Spray or Gel?

Could you girls suggest the best hair spray or gel or serum to use to get the silky straight shiny tresses while straigtening. My hair is naturally wavy.

Try Sunsilk's Straighten Up 24/7 Creme. It worked for me when using a straightening iron. You put some in your hair and then style your hair like you usually do....so you use the hairspray or gel along with it. (I use mousse %26amp; hairspray.) Also, if you have frizz, put a little on after you style, and it will take care of that too. (Sunsilk also has Straighten Up Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner, but I haven't tried those.)

I would suggest using John Frieda products, their absolutely amazing. They work well :)

well serum helps make your hair shiny, so i would use that. if you want to keep your hair in place then use hairspray, which i think doesn't make hair as hard as gel does. hope i helped =)

first of all i don't use either but for the silky straight hair i would suggest anything but auqa net!

i beautiful hair..(sorry i sounded conceited but how else would i put it!!)...%26amp;%26amp; i use like every product out there..like john freda...uhm...hair spray %26amp;%26amp; gel will make it flaky %26amp;%26amp; sticky!! %26amp;%26amp; depends what kind of strightner your using as well...chi the best one!!!

well you shouldnt use hairspray because it causes it to break off...the gel i use is aussie.it works REALLY REALLY good!!

i straighten my hair almost everyday so 4 a spray i use turn up the heat flat iron protection from Sally's an its only $6

an if ur hair gets kinda staticy after words try citre shine but only use a pea size amount!cuz it can make ur hair really oily if u put 2 much!

garnier fructis (sleek and shine line) has a serum that makes hair shiny and easy to straighten.. i have tight curls and it works really well with my hair. its in a circular bottle and its 'pumped' out.

I don't think hairspray is the answer. Use some kind of anti-frizz serum or creme. There are so many on the market. The John Frieda line is good and not expensive. Good Luck!
