I have very fine, straight hair. I have a short cut but my hair is still incrediably flat. I have done the gel, moose and hairspray but it doesn't work. Any secrets or tips on how to volumize this hair.

Get yourself a good Volumizing Shampoo Halo volumizing or biolage are good. Try a root lifter. Also when you blow dry make sure to lift the roots. You should definitely use products. A volumizing moose also should be used

Make sure that your hair is wet, and work the mousse through your hair, especially at the roots. Then, with your head upside down, blow dry your hair. If that doesn't work, use curlers?

I had the same problem but now I use Herbal Essence Volumizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner then when I style my hair I use Loreal Hair Glue just at the roots and fructris volumizing mousse-I blow dry my hair by lifting up at the roots and then put some volumizing hairspray in and I'm ready to go. It sounds like alot and you probably think your hair won't be healthy but mine is fine and my hairdresser agrees because I take care of it. Hope this helps-good luck!

You are not alone, I also have fine straight hair. I have tried just about everything there is on the market to give me volume and the only thing that has worked for me is a root lifter product by Alterna, a big round brush and my blowdryer. I spray the root lifter onto the roots of my hair, comb through and then I section my hair and use the round brush grabbing the hair close to the roots and making sure I concentrate on drying the roots first and then the ends. After I have finished blowdrying I then use Tigi Hairspray to hold the style. It works for me. Another thing you might want to do is highlight your hair. Highlights actually add volume to fine hair. Mine is highlighted and it has helped add volume to mine.

stay away from alcohol-ladened volumizing stuff. it will dry-out and damage your hair. try a natural remedy with herbs. it really works, i have been using it with great results! cheap too @ www.precioushue.biz

i use pantene sheer voulme hair spray love em and im loking into buying redken #9 hairspray for voulme and big sexy hair spray and play is good too
