i have one that does this too, if you want to save money, use the rest of it up BUT wash it out instead,

most gels dont do this though so just pick out another and se how it does, i got a big hting of gel from the dollar store that works GREAT!! you can get gernier fructis, i have that too, and many many other good products so just try again, best odds, you'll find a gel perfect for you!

I have had experience with gel before, and I have also had white powder fall out of my hair as well. In most cases it may mean you are putting too much in your hair at a time.

I use Garnier! It works fabulous!

Instead of smoothering it on use a little amount. If you are trying to get your hair to be in a bun or ponytail or something just spraed it like normal. If u want to leave ur hair down, start from the roots of your hair working your way down to the tips. *Remember only use a tiny bit!

ever use a texture creme or pomade? Works as well as gel for hold and control, with either product you use less so you get more for your dollar, and you can mold hair to one position and change it later for a new look or just to freshen up a bit. If it gets messed up no worries, run hands threw it and your good to go again. Also no show marks, no white flakes, no mess. Leaves a great shine to the hair as well.
