lol, I know this sounds really stupid, but I'm going to gel my hair tomorrow. Whenever the hair dresser does it, my hair always looks great, but whenever I do it, I look terrible.

I'm going for the sorta messy look with hair spiked in the front.

it gives a great effect the in the morning u could comb a little gel through ur hair for the spike

just squirt some gel onto your hands and rub them together.

then you apply the hair gel in a sort of backwards way..you know what i mean?

i mean like go through your hair with you hands in the way of from your face to the back of your head so at first you spike it all up.

then just get a comb of use your hands and style it anyway you want...

its easy after you get used to it.
